Stormzy has appeared to leak Manchester United's new away kit during an appearance at the World Cup final.
The Red Devils have already released their adidas home shirt for the forthcoming campaign , with supporters given their first glimpse of the new strip in the recent 1-0 defeat to Wrexham in pre-season.
But the away kit remained under wraps. That was until rapper Stormzy shared snaps of the strip as he attended the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
The rapper shared a slight teaser of the kit on his Instagram story, with supporters noticing that the Red Devils had opted for a bold blue colour with red and white trim, in what looks to be a tribute to a host of popular United kits from the 1980s.
Adidas had also opted for a classic look with their trefoil logo this time being used instead of the usual performance logo. A subtle wave pattern is also seen on the shirt.
Alongside his post, Stormzy added the caption: “@Man Utd you’ve seen it here first.” Fans were then treated to a more detailed look at the shirt on Mayowa Quadri's account as he filmed Stormzy showing off the shirt in the concourses of MetLife Stadium.
It is not the first time that the rapper has been trusted with a few United secrets. He previously revealed that he was one of the first to learn of Paul Pogba ’s record-breaking return to Old Trafford.
He said: "It was like the biggest secret on the planet at the time, and I was thinking how I could drop the bomb at any minute. Just the power of having a mad secret like that.
“It was hard to keep, a lot of my family are United fans, my little brother in particular. He was on to me like: 'Is he signing?!' I didn't tell anybody!"
Asked if he had to sign any contracts, Stormzy replied: "Yeah, secret locations and all of these things. He's a proper good guy."

Meanwhile, the rapper has previously explained exactly why he is a United fan. He said: "I always get stick.
"There's probably even people watching now saying 'hear his accent what’s he doing supporting United?' But that’s just how the stars aligned for me.
"When I was younger I didn’t have a big brother or like a dad who supported United so it all kinda came from me. Cockney Red what can you do?”
