Sunderland set to sign Kevin Danso on loan
Sunderland are close to completing the signing of defender Kevin Danso according to reports.
The Black Cats are closing in on a deal for the Austrian to join the club with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting an initial loan with a future obligation fee of £25 million for the Tottenham Hotspur man. A medical is scheduled later today before the move is made official.
Danso first joined Spurs on an initial loan from French side Lens midway through the 2024/25 season before that deal was made permanent.
The 27-year-old has since featured 51 times for the club, scoring once in what is likely to be his final appearance for the club – the 5-1 Carabao Cup win over Charlton Athletic last month.
