The 2026 summer transfer window is nearly at an end - but there’s still time for some major deals to be completed. The window will 'slam shut' on Tuesday, September 1 and each of the 20 Premier League clubs are expected to be busy until then.

Some big deals could be in the pipeline across the country, with title chasers Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea anticipated to splash the cash over the final few days of the window.

But it’s not just the big-hitters expected to be busy. Every club will be keeping an eye out for any late deals they could do, with business between Premier League clubs also very possible heading into the final hours of the window.

With that being said, take a look at 10 transfers that could be rubber-stamped in the English top flight over the coming days:

Following Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool exit, it’s been clear for some time that the Reds have needed additions out wide. And to their credit, Andoni Iraola’s men have been trying all summer.

One name that has been consistently linked with a switch to Anfield is Bradley Barcola. The PSG star has asked to leave the Parc des Princes and is now being left out by boss Luis Enrique.

Recent reports have suggested that the two clubs have agreed a deal in principle for the 23-year-old so there could well be movement on this one very soon.

Speaking of drawn-out transfer sagas, the one that refuses to go away is Julian Alvarez. The former Manchester City star has made it clear that he sees his future away from Atletico Madrid.

The situation reached boiling point this week, with the club’s fans loudly jeering the forward, while Atletico chiefs have issued a hands-off warning to domestic rivals Barcelona. Arsenal have remained in the background, with Mikel Arteta keen on a deal but only if Alvarez is open to a move to North London.

After spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich, it appeared that Senegalese forward Jackson had little future with Chelsea - and so that has proved.

He was not even in the squad for the opening day victory against Fulham. With Ollie Watkins on the verge of a move to Saudi Arabia, Aston Villa have turned to Jackson as his replacement and it appears that a £65m switch to the Midlands is close.

Tottenham have been one of the biggest movers in the transfer window this summer and that does not look like slowing down any time soon. The North London side have signed Savio from Man City, who will be followed by Omar Marmoush.

They are also keen on signing Cody Gakpo from Liverpool, but will ironically have to fight off interest from City to do so. Gakpo's future might also hinge on Liverpool's own move for Barcola.

If the Reds seal a deal for the winger, that will allow them to bid farewell to Gakpo. If not, he looks likely to stay at Anfield.

While Chelsea are busy making changes in their forward positions, the same could also be said at the opposite end of the pitch. Robert Sanchez endured another mistake-ridden evening at Craven Cottage, with there being suggestions that he should be rotated out.

And it appears that the Blues have been offered an ideal upgrade in the form of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez. The 2022 World Cup winner is expected to leave following the signing of Zion Suzuki.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea make a move to sign Martinez but it could be one to move quickly should they decide to.

Despite being blessed with an array of centre-back options, it appears that Chelsea aren’t quite content yet. It has been suggested that the Blues are close to agreeing a deal with Atlanta, with the Serie A side having a £34.3m valuation of the defender.

Ahanor could immediately be sent out on loan should he complete a move to Stamford Bridge over the coming days.

Arguably one of the biggest deals over the final few days of the transfer window, Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez could be set to follow former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca to Stamford Bridge.

City have a long-standing interest in the former Benfica man. Despite that, they missed a deadline to make a bid for his services earlier this month.

That might not be the end of the story though, with it being suggested that City are considering a late-window offer.

After cruelly seeing his loan spell with Everton cut short by injury last season, Grealish has plenty of options on the table should he want to go out again. Reports have suggested that Sunderland have already made an approach to City over a loan deal.

Grealish’s former clubs Aston Villa and Everton are also interested. The England man has just a year remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium so needs to make a decision sooner rather than later.

It wouldn’t be a Premier League transfer window without one hijack or two and it appears that one has taken place between Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. The Midlands side were reportedly close to a move for Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez.

But the Eagles appear to have moved ahead of their Premier League rivals after accelerating a move for Ordonez following Chadi Riad’s injury.

With his first season ending in relegation to the Championship, Senegalese left-back Diouf has been linked with a return to the Premier League. Brentford are among those interested to sign him, with reports suggesting a £40m deal is in the offing.

He has already been cleared to undergo a medical with the Bees so his move across London could be rubber-stamped very soon.
