The Tottenham boost Roberto De Zerbi must not waste in the next five days
Tottenham have won their last two Premier League matches and Roberto De Zerbi already has an advantage ahead of the game against Crystal Palace

Tottenham are on a huge high right now following the emphatic win over Chelsea on Saturday.
Mike Penders’ own-goal and a sensational solo effort by Mathys Tel helped Spurs end their Stamford Bridge hoodoo. Roberto De Zerbi’s team dominated the Blues as they ran out 2-0 winners against Xabi Alonso’s 10 men.
"We played very well," De Zerbi said after the victory. "Great individual performances, great collective performance because we played very well.
"And then we put something different than Tottenham, I think, in the last period. Different attitude, different relationships with the players, different group."
It means Tottenham have now won back-to-back games in the Premier League and De Zerbi appears to be finally getting a tune out of his players. The Lilywhites are undefeated in their last three games in the league and the Italian will want that run to continue.
With the squad having a recovery day on Sunday, the hard work will begin again on Monday as attention turns to the match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, October 31. In yet another evening kick-off (5:30pm), the Eagles go into the clash on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle.
With the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, De Zerbi will want to make it two consecutive home wins in a row following the 3-1 victory over Coventry City last Monday. The good news is the Italian will have plenty of time to work with his players at Hotspur Way.
In fact, Tottenham will have at least three more days than the Eagles on the training pitch as Pierre Sage's men face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup fourth round. Tottenham were knocked out by Liverpool in the previous round on September 15 so are no longer in the competition, meaning they do not play a fixture in midweek.
Premier League sides Arsenal, Brighton, Man City, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Brentford, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and Newcastle are all still in the League Cup so will have to juggle the lack of rest ahead of next weekend's games.
While many Tottenham supporters would want to see their team still in the cup competition, the exit at least means De Zerbi has extra time on the training pitches with his players which should be a welcome boost ahead of the fixture against Crystal Palace.
In fact, De Zerbi has a full five days (Monday to Friday) to work with his squad which should be plenty of time to prepare and try and make it three wins in a row.
