– Kobe Sanders went off for a game-high 26 points as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Washington Wizards,
108-94
, at
2026 NBA Summer League
on Wednesday.
Sanders made a trio of 3-pointers to go with three rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 9-for-17 from the field. The 50th pick in the
2025 NBA Draft
led the Clippers, who had six players score in double-figures.
The score was all knotted at 25 apiece after a back-and-forth first quarter. Washington started to separate themselves with an eight-point advantage midway through the second, but LA rallied to grab a slight 52-51 edge at halftime. The contest had nine ties and 11 lead changes, with all but a single tie coming in the first half.
The Clippers didn’t let the halftime break kill their momentum. They won the third quarter by a score of 30-19 and went into the final frame up 82-70. An 8-0 Washington run made it 86-78 LA with a little more than six minutes remaining in the fourth. The Clippers turned to Sanders and Sean Pedulla to get them to the finish line, and they certainly delivered.

Pedulla stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points and 11 dimes while matching Sanders’ plus-17 rating. Nick Martinelli finished with 19 points, three 3-pointers and five boards.
Baba Miller and Fletcher Loyer provided 12 points apiece for the Clippers. Norchad Omier compiled a game-high 15 rebounds to go along with 11 points off the bench.
Seth Trimble poured in 24 points on 8-for-12 shooting to lead five Wizards in double-figures. Chris Livingston made his presence felt with 20 points (8-15 FGs) and nine rebounds.
The Clippers (2-2) take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday (
