, in a defensive scuffle of a

2026 NBA Summer League

matchup at Thomas and Mack Center on Wednesday evening.

Boston began the game in dominant fashion on the defensive end, limiting Sacramento to a meager four points in the first 10 minutes. The Celtics held a 39-28 advantage by intermission, but the Kings battled back to get within two points with 54 seconds remaining before Boston finished on a 5-1 run to close out the victory.

Hugo González continued a strong summer with a game-high 24 points, adding 10 rebounds and five assists. John Tonje furnished 18 points, Milos Uzan supplied 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists. The No. 27 pick in the

Alex Karaban paced the Kings with 21 points, complementing them with eight rebounds and one steal. Second-round pick Emanuel Sharp went for 12 points, Adam Flagler finished with 11 points, three rebounds and Jonathan Mogbo posted nine points, 11 rebounds and two assists.

The Kings return to action Friday against the Charlotte Hornets in a consolation game, while the Celtics will meet a to-be-determined opponent on Saturday in a playoff matchup.
