Kobe Johnson scored 30 points, Henri Veesaar added 20 points with four rebounds, and the Hawks cruised to
a 102-90 win
over the Celtics at the
2026 NBA Summer League
on Monday.
The Hawks dominated this game from start to finish. By the time the first quarter ended, they held a 29-25 lead.
A 16-0 run for the Hawks midway through the second quarter set the tone and Boston couldn’t recover.
With Atlanta outscoring Boston 23-14 and 31-23 in the second and third quarters, respectively, the game was out of reach for the Celtics ahead of the final period.

Johnson
, the brother of Hawks swingman Jalen Johnson, shot 11-for-18 from the floor and added seven rebounds, four assists and two steals across 24 minutes. Devon Higgs chipped in with 12 points, and Isaiah Wong contributed nine points and nine rebounds.
Only three Boston players scored in double digits in this loss. First-round pick
Chris Cenac Jr.
led the way with 16 points and five rebounds.
Dillon Mitchell and Tucker DeVries each had 11 points, and Mitchell also added four rebounds and two assists.
The Celtics will play against Wednesday against the Kings (
8 ET, ESPN 2
). Meanwhile, the Hawks will take on the Grizzlies on Thursday (
8 ET, Prime Video
). Both games will be played at Thomas & Mack Center.
