Chelsea attacker ends 7️⃣ month goal drought with friendly goal
One year ago, there was plenty of intrigue when Liam Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich for £30 million.

The English attacker impressed in 2025/26 pre-season and scored a brace during Chelsea's 4-1 home triumph against AC Milan.
However, Delap struggled throughout last season, registering just two goals in all competitions.
The 23-year-old's last goal came all the way back in early January as the Blues edged rivals Fulham to a 2-1 Premier League win.
Delap eventually ended his barren spell on Sunday with a well-taken penalty against Malaysian opponents Johor Darul Ta'zim.
Xabi Alonso's side trailed 1-0 after 14 minutes before Delap levelled from the spot.

Will the long-overdue goal give Delap some goalscoring confidence ahead of 2026/27?
