Goretzka completes Aston Villa move

Aston Villa have officially confirmed the signing of German International Leon Goretzka.

The central midfielder makes the switch to the Premier League outfit on a free transfer efter his contract with Bayern Munich expired at the end of last season.

Goretzka, 31, played 312 games for Bayern between 2018 and 2026, scoring 51 goals and providing 53 assists.

The former Schalke 04 midfielder has also made 73 appearances for the German national team.
