Noel Gallagher's 'heart full of pride' after son's gesture towards Man Utd fans

Noel Gallagher quipped that his "heart was full of pride" after his 15-year-old son was shown giving Manchester United fans the middle finger during the Manchester derby.
Sunday's game became embroiled in controversy after Erling Haaland's winning goal, originally ruled out for offside, was given following a VAR intervention. It was later determined Manchester City's winner should not have stood due to Enzo Fernandez attempting to play the ball while in an offside position, with Pro Ref issuing an apology to United.
Gallagher was among the City fans at Old Trafford with his two sons, Donovan, 18, and Sonny, 15. The Oasis star was seen celebrating the big victory alongside his sons, with Sonny even seen flipping the bird towards home fans.
Asked about the snap, which went viral, Gallagher joked that he was proud of his sons who "got stuck into it" on derby day.

He told talkSport: “There comes a point in your time as a father where you look at your children and you think, ‘My god, I brought you up well’ – when they feel it as much as you do and when they get it.
“Let’s not forget, when you’re in that away end and the United fans are in front of you, they’re giving it to you as much as you’re giving it to them.
“But he made the newspapers today and my heart is full of pride for my sons who got stuck into it yesterday and got stuck into the United fans as well.”
Though Gallagher is a regular at The Etihad and is usually seen supporting City at different grounds, he admits he isn't the biggest fan of heading to Old Trafford. But he decided to attend for his sons, who were desperate to go.
He added: “Ordinarily I wouldn’t [go]. I don’t like going to Old Trafford because it can get a bit spicy getting in and out, but they were there.
“They were so keen to go because they’d never been, so I went for them really and they got stuck into it big time and it was a great, great day.”
