The transfer window is well in it's final week and it's building up to be a dramatic few days in football. There have already been some mega deals this summer, but the Premier League transfer record is threatening to be broken again.

Liverpool's transfer pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain ace Bradley Barcola could be the record breaker, as could Arsenal's pursuit of wantaway Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. Manchester United are also still knee deep in the market, looking for more expensive additions to a squad which was well beaten by Hull City.

Ayyoub Bouaddi has wasted no time in sticking the boot into his new rivals - after admitting Manchester City are the best club in the world.

The Moroccan sensation has completed an £85m switch to City from Lille.

The teenage midfielder has agreed a deal that will keep him at the Etihad until at least 2031.

And Bouaddi has told the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United there is no place he would rather be.

Bouaddi said: "Manchester City are, for me, the best club in the world. It's a dream to be here and be able to call myself a City player.

"I have spent most of my life working hard to become the best player I can be and reach the top of the game.

"I've watched City for many years, and I love their style of play. City always try and play quality football.

"And they have shown they are winners - this club feels like it's built to win.

"The squad is world-class and Enzo (Maresca) is a top manager. And I’m really looking forward to playing at the Etihad Stadium, in front of all the fans.

"I have plenty of improving to do. I am only 18. I am happy with the progress I have made so far, but I also know I can improve so much. This is undoubtedly the best place for me to do that.

Julian Alvarez has not taken part in Atletico Madrid's most recent training session. It's understood in Spain he is absent as a result of illness.

Manchester City have accepted a £60m bid from Tottenham for Omar Marsmoush. The Egyptian will move to the north Londoners on loan before signing permanently for £60m next season.

Spurs had recently wrapped up an £85m move for his City team-mate Savio, formerly known as Savinho. Marmoush will be undergoing a medical ahead of a move to the north Londoners.

Former Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku has secured a loan move to former club RB Leipzig. The former Chelsea ace had been linked with a move to Newcastle United this summer.

Instead, he chose to move back to Leipzig, the club he became a European star which earned him a big money move to Chelsea. The Frenchman was sold to AC Milan last summer for £32million.

His return to Germany also includes a £25m option to buy. After sealing his return, he said: "When I heard of the opportunity to join RB Leipzig, I immediately wanted to say yes,” said Nkunku. “I'm very happy to be back here. I'm in excellent shape and want to help the team as soon as possible, and I also can't wait to once again play in front of our fans at the Red Bull Arena.

Manchester United have made bids for both Barcelona full-back Alejandro Balde and Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga.

Brighton have signed Algeria international Jaouen Hadjam from Young Boys. They have purchased the full-back from Swiss side Young Boys.

Announcing the move, sporting director Mike Cave said: "We believe Jaouen will be a great addition to the group, adding to our already strong options in defence.

"He is a modern left-back known for his pace, attacking output and technical abilities which fits our style of play well. He has proven himself to be a versatile player in Switzerland and we are looking forward to working with him.”

Manchester United have received a transfer boost regarding the future of left-back target Alejandro Balde. Barcelona recently completed the permanent signing of Joao Cancelo, which is believed to have changed the picture for Balde significantly.

It's been claimed by Spanish outlet Marca that Balde and his agent are looking for a new club. This is a huge boost for United, who are looking to sign a new left-back.

Liverpool are holding additional talks with Paris Saint-Germain regarding a deal for Bradley Barcola.

The Frenchman is valued at around £145million, which would surpass the current Premier League transfer record of £125m, set by Liverpool's purchase of Alexander Isak.
