Van Hecke Gets 7, Kinsky With 5.5 | Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated In Poor Loss Vs Newcastle United

Tottenham Hotspur entertained Newcastle United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Anthony Elanga scored the opening goal for the visitors just after the hour mark before Yoane Wissa put daylight between the two sides in the 72nd minute. The contest ended with Roberto De Zerbi’s players suffering a poor 2-0 loss in front of their home fans.

LB: Andy Robertson – 6.5/10

Roberton was full of energy and running on the left flank, but failed to make a difference in the final third.

CM: Sandro Tonali – 6/10

He earned possession back once and made two good chances in the final third.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6.5/10

Bentancur anchored the midfield well and was tidy with his ball distribution.

RW: Pedro Porro – 6.5/10

He worked hard at both ends of the field but struggled to find the cutting edge in the final third.

Fernandes managed to catch the eye at times in the final third and was tidy with his passing.

LW: Mathys Tel – 6/10

He was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to find the back of the net.

ST: Omar Marmoush – 7/10

Marmoush caused a few problems for the Newcastle centre-backs, but there was no goal for him.

He failed to influence the game.

Udogie made one key chance going forward.
