matchup at The Pavillion on Wednesday.

2026 NBA Draft

Nate Ament led the Bucks’ charge with 23 points, which came on the strength of 53.8% shooting. The Bucks shot 46.7% overall, including a stellar 42.2% from 3-point range, and saw three second-unit players Boopie Miller, Luke Travers and Zack Austin score in double digits on the way to a 43-21 advantage in bench points.

A lopsided first half portended a blowout, as the Bucks held a 10-point advantage after one and a 16-point edge by intermission. The Hornets could only make a one-point dent in their deficit in the third quarter, helping tee up a comfortable double-digit victory for Milwaukee.

Steinbach led the Hornets with a game-high 27 points along with 15 rebounds. Tidjane Salaün registered 21 points, three rebounds and four steals. The No. 18 overall pick in the

Christian Anderson dished out a game-high 10 assists.

The Hornets return to action Friday against the Sacramento Kings in a consolation game, while the Bucks will meet a to-be-determined opponent on Saturday in a playoff matchup.
